FAR CRY AUDIO PROBLEM (FIXED)
ALL FAR CRY – All Audio Problem (No Audio) – FIXED!
FIX 1 :-
First of all check your sound mixer (Windows or
any specific sound card) to be sure all the speakers are connected properly .
If you are using headphone or earphone then you need to configure the headset
for “stereo”.
5.1 , 6.1 & 7.1 sound setting will have the
dialog sound on the center channel i.e the center speaker.
2.0 , 2.1 & 4.1 sound will have the dialog sound
on the two front speakers.
In case you have only 2 front speakers (no
center speaker) then dont set the sound to 5.1 or greater or you will not be
able to hear the dialog sound.
Set the speakers to “STEREO” and you could hear
the dialog .
Step 1 -> Go to Control Panel
Step 2 -> Go to Hardware and Sound
Step 3 -> Go to Sound
Step 4 -> Click on “Speakers” icon
Step 5 -> Click on “Configure “ in the lower
left
Step 5 -> That opens the Speaker Setup Window
, set your speakers to whatever is appropriate.
FIX 2 :-
Go to Control Panel
Step 1 -> Hardware and Sound
Step 2 -> Sound
Step 3 -> Right click on speakers/whatever
you use as an output
Step 4 -> Configure
Step 5 -> Choose: Stereo
Step 6 -> Next
Step 7 -> Check: Front left and right
Step 8 -> Next > Finish.
Fix 3 :–
You can also check your GamerProfile.xml under Documents / MyGames
/ FarCry 3 and see if IncomingVoiceEnabled="1" is set to
"one". I don’t know if this is for single player or multiplayer but
you can always double check it.
Fix 4 :–
Step 1 -> Go to the System32 folder and
SysWOW64 ( If you have ) and delete these audio files -
"x3daudio1_0.dll to x3daudio1_7.dll " (you need to
delete 7 files ) and "XAudio2_0.dll to XAudio2_7.dll".
( you need to delete 7 files.)
Step 2 -> Go in the game folder , Far Cry 4 \ Support \ Software \DirectX and install a DXSETUP .
Step 3 -> Restart the PC
Step 4 -> Play
Fix 5 :-

right corner of your screen.

You'll hear sounds play across your left and right speakers.
Step 9b -> If you select

hear sound across all of your speakers, then the sound card or speakers you have do not support this audio channel type or are not plugged in correctly.
Step 10 -> Click Next to continue through this
Speaker Setup window until you receive a Finish button.
Step 11 -> Click OK to save these settings and
close the window.
Windows 8
Step 1 -> From Desktop View, hold the Windows key on your keyboard and
hit C on the keyboard
as well.
Step 2 -> Click Settings, and then Control Panel.
Step 3 -> Choose Hardware and Sound.
Step 4 -> Choose Sound.

correct audio device and
ensure it is set as the default.
Step 6 -> With the

for your device. Typically, this will be "2 channel,16 bit, 44100 Hz (CD
Quality)" or "2 channel, 16 bit, 48000Hz (DVD Quality)"
setting. Click OK to apply these settings.
Step 8 -> With the
device still selected, click Configure.
Step 9a -> Ensure
the Audio Channels is
set to Stereo and
click the Test button.
You'll hear sounds play across your left and right speakers.
Step 9b -> If you select
another setting here, such at 5.1 Surround sound, and click Test, but do not
hear sound across all of your speakers, then the sound card or speakers you have do not support this audio channel type or are not plugged in correctly.
Step 10 -> Click Next to continue through this
Speaker Setup window until you receive a Finish button.
Step 11 -> Click OK to save these settings and
close the window.
If the sound plays
correctly now in the game, then you may need to review your computer or speaker
setup before trying to enable surround sound again.
FIX 6 :-
You can also try to open your sounds cards
software program and turn off DTS and other features .
